From period cottages to new build extensions, Stone homes come to Polished Venetian for Traditional Plastering and Skimming that suits the wall behind it. We use breathable lime plaster on older, heritage properties and quick drying gypsum where a clean modern finish is called for. Stone is well within our Kent patch, close to Styants Bottom and The Park, which keeps travel short and our response quick.

Not every wall needs stripping back. Where the existing plaster is sound we can skim straight over it for a fresh, flat finish, and where it is blown or crumbling we hack it off and re-plaster from the background up. That call is made at the site visit, not guessed over the phone.

Patch repairs are as much about blending as filling. We feather new plaster into the surrounding surface so the repair disappears once the room is decorated, rather than leaving a flat patch that shows through the paint in daylight.
