Moroccan Tadelakt Waterproof Plaster for Stone Wet Rooms

Made from natural lime and polished with olive oil soap, Tadelakt Waterproof Plaster is hand-applied in layers until it forms a seamless, waterproof surface. Polished Venetian brings this mould-resistant Moroccan finish to Stone and across Kent, using the authentic technique rather than a tiled shortcut. The character comes from the final stage. Once the lime layers are built up, the surface is burnished and polished with olive oil soap, the traditional step that seals it, draws out the distinctive soft sheen and makes it genuinely waterproof.

Because it is sealed this way, Tadelakt is well suited to direct water. It is the finish we recommend for the inside of a shower enclosure, a bath surround or a full wet room, where its waterproof, grout-free surface does the job that tile and grout usually struggle with.
