Traditional Plastering and Skimming is the craft everything else at Polished Venetian is built on. The same artisan hand finishing we bring to our decorative Venetian and Marmorino work goes into every skim coat we lay in Whetsted, which is exactly why our surfaces hold up over time. Our coverage does not stop at Whetsted. We are equally active in the nearby Kent areas of Herne Pound and Grain, and travel between the three regularly.

We are upfront about pricing from the start. Skimming typically runs around ten to fifteen pounds per square metre as a guide, though every job is quoted individually once we have seen the actual condition of the surface.

Patch repairs are as much about blending as filling. We feather new plaster into the surrounding surface so the repair disappears once the room is decorated, rather than leaving a flat patch that shows through the paint in daylight.
