Moroccan Tadelakt Waterproof Plaster for Basted Wet Rooms

Made from natural lime and polished with olive oil soap, Tadelakt Waterproof Plaster is hand-applied in layers until it forms a seamless, waterproof surface. Polished Venetian brings this mould-resistant Moroccan finish to Basted and across Kent, using the authentic technique rather than a tiled shortcut. The finish is built by hand. Natural lime is applied in successive layers by skilled artisans, each one worked before the next goes on, which is what gives Tadelakt its seamless, continuous surface with no grout lines anywhere.

Both Venetian polished plaster and Tadelakt handle moisture well, but for genuinely constant water exposure, such as inside a shower cubicle, Tadelakt is the one we specifically recommend. We will always tell you honestly which finish suits the exact spot you have in mind.
